At Vintage Press and Bindery, we manufacture books that are most probably the best quality you have ever seen. Our blank books use 100% archival cotton paper with an antique tint and a historic laid finish. The methods, equipment and tools used are the same used by historic bookbinders since Gutenburg’s historic Bible. The only distinction is in the glue – I use a modern archival poly vinyl acetate as opposed to the more historically correct wheat paste, as the wheat attracts bookworms, and the PVA does not. The methods, materials and designs used create a finished product that is equivalent in appearance and quality to many medieval era books.

We also have the capability of rebuilding books that require repair, often returning the book to its owner in better condition than it was when it was new.
